Alexander Söderlund back to Rosenborg
The Norwegian striker returns to his former team.
This Thursday, an agreement was made between AS Saint-Etienne and Rosenborg for the transfer of Alexander Söderlund. The Norwegian striker will return to his former club in Eliteserien that he had left to join Forez in January 2015. Over the course of the 59 matches he played wearing his green jersey, the international striker scored 7 goals.
He was especially unforgettable when he scored during the 100th derby, a match that went down in the history books, January 17, 2016 (ASSE 1-0 OL) and scored two goals in the same game when the Verts won in Anderlecht (3-2), which allowed them to exhilarate in placing first in Group C of the UEFA Europa League, December 8, 2016.
ASSE wishes him much success as he continues his career.
