The Avenir Group rewarded by the AURA League!
The 2024-2025 team led by Kévin de Jesus was rewarded last week by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes League thanks to their success in the first edition of the U16 Critérium.
The players of the 2024-2025 Avenir group, now playing in the Formation group, were honored last week by the AURA League and its technical director, Pierre Berthaud.
The reason? Their victory last season in the U16 Critérium organized by the League in a chessboard format. By winning all five of their matches, the young Verts brought glory to AS Saint-Étienne and won this first edition. In addition to receiving congratulations from the League, their coach Kévin de Jesus, their manager, and the club received a grant.
The presentation took place after a friendly match between the current Avenir group and a selection of players from the Loire District.
