Zuriko Davitashvili: "Ready to give it our all"
Ahead of Saturday's 9:00 PM match against Reims, Georgian forward Zuriko Davitashvili spoke to the press, emphasizing the team's determination to secure a crucial victory.
Team Spirit
It was a tough start to the week following our defeat and the weekend's results. We needed to find energy, and I believe we've managed to do so as the week progressed. We know we have two finals left to play. The situation is obviously difficult, but if we win against Reims, we can hope for a favorable result from Le Havre to keep our survival hopes alive. We're ready to give everything we have.
His First Season in Ligue 1
Statistically, it might not be too bad for a first season in Ligue 1. But of course, we always hope for better, especially collectively. When the team loses and doesn't earn points, it's not easy. Personal achievements take a back seat, especially since I think I could have done better. But the only thing I'm focusing on right now is the club's survival.
His connexion with Léo Pétrot
We always talk a lot before each match. In recent games, things have gone quite well, like the goal action against Strasbourg or certain plays against Monaco. We're finding each other well and coordinating effectively. Working together for over six months now and regularly playing together on the field helps us understand each other better.
