Zuriko Davitashvili: “A completely different game”
Triple scorer in the first leg, the Les Verts winger talks about the return fixture against Auxerre scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, at Abbé-Deschamps (20:45).
His state of fitness
On a personal level, after being sick and a bit weak, especially in Paris, I'm feeling better. Against Nantes, I had trouble finding space against a low block. I'm trying and working to improve.
His first few months at ASSE
Statistically, I think I can do better. I'd like to score more goals and score more goals. I'm training to turn the corner and do better (...) The arrival of the new coach has brought changes. He's very demanding and demands a lot of intensity. We have more possession of the ball, which gives me more opportunities. He has his game plan and we follow it.
His hat-trick in the first leg
The first leg is a very good memory that stays with me. I still have the ball from that match at home. I've had it signed by all the players in the team. But now it's a completely different game for both teams, particularly for us, who have a new coach, but also for Auxerre, who have worked very hard since that game.
