The Verts had their first training session !
For the first training of the season, many homegrown young players trained with the first team.
25 players took part in Friday's training session, the first of the season 2018-19. Loïc Perrin, Romain Hamouma, Stéphane Ruffier, Jessy Moulin, Gabriel Silva, Neven Subotic, Assane Diousse, Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel, Oussama Tannane, Cheikh M'Bengue, Vagner Dias Gonçalves, Kenny Rocha Santos and Alexis Guendouz were subjected to medical and physical tests before running.
Loïc Perrin and Jessy Moulin are back in L'Etrat.
Five players were back after their last season loan : - Loïs Diony (Bristol), Léo Lacroix (FC Basel), Habib Maïga (Arsenal Tula) Arnaud Nordin (AS Nancy-Lorraine) and Pierre-Yves Polomat (AJ Auxerre)
On loan to FC Basilea, Léo Lacroix is back.
Moreover, seven homegrown players joined the training session upon request of Jean-Louis Gasset: Stefan Bajic and Théo Vermot (goalies), Mahdi Camara and William Saliba (defenders), Bilel Benkhedim (midfielder), Charles Abi and Makhtar Gueye (forwards).
Bilel Benkhedim is one of the seven homegrown players in the group.
Yann M'Vila will be back in the next days whereas the National Team Players - Mathieu Debuchy (France), Ole Selnæs (Norway) and Robert Beric (Slovenia) - will be back next week.
