Robert Beric, ASSE top scorer!
Thanks to his two goals against ESTAC (2-1), the Slovenian striker is the best ASSE scorer this season in Ligue 1.
Back in the Forez region on the last 1st of January, Robert Beric has now become the Verts' top scorer this season. With five goals in Ligue 1 plus two scored on Sunday afternoon against ESTAC, the Slovenian forward has put the ball into the opponent's net seven times. The same total as Rémy Cabella who however scored one goal with Olympique de Marseille before he joined ASSE on loan at the end of August.
The goals scored by Robert Beric clearly show how important his role is on Jean-Louis Gasset’s team. The Green number 27 scores, on average, every 119 minutes in Ligue 1. In the Cauldron, his home, he even scores every 65 minutes.
Moreover, the Slovenian forward also scored a goal in Coupe de France, against Nîmes Olympique, for his first game after his return in January.
