I couldn’t play last season. I was disappointed because I could have certainly helped my teammates. This time, it’s different because I belong to Saint-Étienne. I’ll play to win because I’m 100% Vert. It will be special to play against them tomorrow. But, let me repeat myself, on the field, I’ll be one of the Verts.

Is this a special match for you?

Even if I had never played for Marseille, facing OM is always special. Just like ASSE, Marseille is a historic club. You always want to do well against teams like this one. I don’t want to over-play, play too much. I feel good right now. Personally, I want to progress even more. That will come by playing matches like the one tomorrow or the one Sunday.

Exactly, Marseille Wednesday then Lyon Sunday. How are you tackling this week?

It’s a Champions League week. They’re two great teams, two big matches. Lyon arrives this weekend, that’s true, but we’ll only think about them from Thursday on. We’ll already be preparing ourselves well to face OM.

Are you impressed by Wahbi Khazri’s stats?

Wahbi is someone that I’ve known well since I was a kid. Playing with him is a real pleasure. Over the course of matches, we’ve developed our instincts. Each of us likes to have the ball, relishes being on the field. He’s one of the best players in the championship. Having him with us is just huge.
