Noah Moulin turns pro

Noah Moulin, an 18-year-old forward from the Loire region, has signed his first professional contract with ASSE, the club he has always supported and for which he has played since 2019.

A native of Firminy, Noah Moulin grew up near Saint-Romain-les-Atheux, going to Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium from a very young age. Passionate about soccer, he played his first games in the U7 division in Saint-Genest-Malifaux for Haut Pilat Interfoot.

But young Noah didn’t take long to make a name for himself, joining AS Saint-Étienne’s U12 team in 2019 before progressing through the various stages that led him to the youth academy. After playing notably for Kévin De Jesus’s Avenir squad until the summer of 2024, Noah Moulin made the big leap to the national level with a strong 24/25 season.

Under the guidance of David Le Moal, Noah Moulin was part of the Saint-Étienne U17N team that brilliantly won their group and was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the championship by Strasbourg. The season was also marked, on a personal level, by his promotion to a higher division in the Gambardella Cup.

But it was this season that Noah Moulin truly took his game to the next level. Having moved up from the U17 National team to the Reserve Squad over the course of a single summer, the young forward rose to the occasion, playing 20 matches under coach Sylvain Gibert. With two goals in National 3, he played a key role in helping the Verts avoid relegation by making a decisive impact on the field in Cosne on the final day of the season.

At age 18, Noah Moulin signed his first professional contract and is now under contract with ASSE through 2029. Congratulations!

Noah Moulin : "I'm very happy to sign this first contract with the club I've always loved. I want to thank everyone who has supported me: my family, all my loved ones, and the coaches I've had the chance to work with along the way. Now I want to work hard so that one day I can play for the first team."

Loïc Perrin, Sports Director of AS Saint-Étienne : "We wanted to reward Noah for his evolution over the past year. He’s a refined, elegant player—a very good soccer player. He has tremendous potential that he now needs to develop. He’s also a local kid, and we’re thrilled to see him sign with the club where he grew up and has in his heart."
