Moira Kelley, defensive reinforcement for les Vertes

A new recruit for Les Vertes! Moira Kelley joins AS Saint-Étienne after a successful first European experience in Sweden.

Born on February 16, 2002, Moira Kelley began her college career at the University of Kansas, where she stood out from her very first season. She started all of her college games (64 games), confirming her potential. She continued her development at the University of Virginia, where she contributed to her team's run to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Women's Tournament. 

Her performances earned her a place in the Portland Thorns, a team in the US National Women’s Soccer League. In July 2025, Moira Kelley joined Linköping FC in the Swedish first division. She quickly settled in and established herself as an important player in the squad, starting 11 times. Her coach described her as an offensive and combative defender.

She will wear the number 24 on the green jersey, with which she has signed until May 2026. Welcome, Moira!
