Medhy Lutin Zidée signs his first professional contract
Player of the Génération Verte since 2023, Medhy Lutin Zidée signed his first professional contract with AS Saint-Étienne, accompanied by sporting director Loïc Perrin and Laurent Huard, director of the Saint-Étienne youth academy.
Member of the Robert-Herbin Youth Academy since 2023, he stood out on the right wing of the Youth Team before earning a spot last season on Sylvain Gibert’s Reserve Team.
Now under contract with his youth club through 2029, the forward joins Djylian N’Guessan and Paul Eymard, two other members of the 2008 class who are already professionals.
Congratulations, Medhy!
Medhy Lutin Zidée : "I’m very happy and feel a great sense of pride today as I sign my first professional contract here at the club that developed me. My thoughts go out to the coaches and management who have placed their trust in me, and I thank them. Now I have to repay that trust. The journey doesn’t end here. A tremendous amount of work lies ahead of me if I’m to have the honor of wearing this green jersey in the professional ranks.”
Loïc Perrin, Sports Director of AS Saint-Étienne : “Medhy has outstanding qualities in terms of drive and speed. That’s what defines him most. He has developed within the Youth Academy over the past few years and, through his hard work, has earned this professional contract today. Like any young player, he still has a long way to go, and he’ll need determination and self-sacrifice to get there. His goal now is to train with the pros, and we’ll see how quickly he progresses. We’ll be there to support him the best we can and provide him with the best possible conditions. It’s up to him to show us just how far he wants to go!"
