Marc-Antoine Brihat: “It's a good point”
After drawing with Nantes (2-2) on Matchday 14 of the Arkema Première Ligue, Marc-Antoine Brihat looks back on his team's performance against Nantes, who persevered.
A good point
I was very pleased with my players today, and it's a good point taken. The girls gave their all, they worked hard together. I've got a group that's making progress and wants to get results, so it's very satisfying. Admittedly, we led twice, so we can have regrets about not winning the match, but we could also have lost it. Today, we have to be content with this point, which is a good one. Overall, I'm satisfied. What matters to me now is the trip to Lille for the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France.
Away from the red zone
We're making progress. Our next league game is away to PFC, who are a very good team in this league. My priority is to savour this point and turn our attention to the match against Lille (Sunday, 2.30pm, Coupe de France), which will also be important.
An unfortunate own goal
Solène was understandably disappointed at the end of the game. But I know I've got a united and supportive group who want to move forward together, so no one will hold that against her.
