Luan Gadegbeku, Green until 2029
Born in Juvisy-sur-Orge in 2007, Luan Gadegbeku joined ASSE in 2022 from FC Fleury 91. The Essonne native quickly made his mark in the U17 National league, as part of a generation that qualified for the semi-finals of the French Championship.
Following his development, Luan Gadegbeku made his comeback in the summer of 2024 with the Reserve team, alongside performances on the international stage, as evidenced by 21 caps for the French national team, most recently for the U19 team.
Having joined the professional squad last summer, Luan Gadegbeku took advantage of the first day of Ligue 2 BKT to make his first start with the senior team on the pitch in Laval. He now has seven professional appearances to his name.
Promising midfielder Luan Gadegbeku (18) has extended his contract with ASSE. The Green is now under contract with his training club until 2029!
Luan Gadegbeku : "I am very proud to extend my commitment here. When I signed my first contract last May, my goal was to earn playing time with the first team in order to repay the trust that had been placed in me. These efforts have now enabled me to extend my contract with the club that trained me, and I am very happy about that. I am savoring the moment, but I will quickly refocus on the field to continue my adventure in green."
Loïc Perrin, Directeur sportif de l'ASSE : "Luan has made good progress since joining the professional squad last summer. He has already managed to get some playing time despite his young age, he is eager to move forward, and it is very enjoyable to work with players like him. This contract extension rewards his attitude and recognizes the work of the Training Center. We will support him so that he can continue his development, step by step."
