Loïc Perrin inaugurates his pitch

The Verts’ captain inaugurated on Wednesday afternoon a pitch he has given his name to, in Saint-Etienne.

Loïc Perrin is now fortunate enough to be one of the few active players to give his name to a football pitch. On Wednesday afternoon, the Verts’ captain has inaugurated a pitch with his name in l’Etivallière stadium. The Mayor of Saint-Etienne, Gaël Perdriau, was present as well as the President of AS Saint-Etienne, Roland Romeyer.

Gaël Perdriau underlined the fantastic work done by Loïc Perrin : « Why should we wait to tell people that we love them, that we respect them, and that we thank them for what they have given to their club and their city? He is a model for everyone as he always showed great qualities as fair-play, serenity, consistency, exemplariness. I am really happy that this pitch has now his name and that he has always been loyal to his city. He is now an ambassador of Saint-Etienne. »

After hearing the Mayor, the captain of ASSE showed, as usual, a lot of humility: "The club of Saint-Charles Vigilante enabled me to sign for ASSE when I was young. I had a great time here so I feel lots of emotions to be here. I hope my name will bring luck to the club. Thanks again to the President of Saint-Charles Vigilante to have thought of me.

Roland Romeyer also congratulated Loïc Perrin for the good image he gives to ASSE. He has not forgotten where he comes from and what he brings to our region makes him an exceptional man.”
