Léo Lacroix loaned to Hamburg
The Swiss International Defender is joining Hamburg, where he was loaned with a purchase option.
This Friday, an agreement was officially made between AS Saint-Etienne and the German club of Hamburg for the loan with purchase option of Léo Lacroix. The Swiss International defender joined the German club that was just relegated for the first time in its history to the 2. Bundesliga. Hamburg, six time German Champion and winner of the UEFA Champions League in 1983, has the ambition of reclaiming its elite status this upcoming season.
Léo Lacroix, loaned to FC Basel during the winter transfer window, played 31 matches in Ligue 1 and 3 matches in the UEFA Champions League since his arrival in Forez, during the 2016-2017 season.
ASSE wishes him much success with his new team.
