After the qualification of his team, Jean-Louis Gasset was happy about the work done by his team on the pitch against Nîmes Olympique (2-0).
What is your reaction after this win?
I feel better ! We could not make any mistake today. But it is just a Coupe de France game, we do not gain points in the League. We will need to do more against Toulouse in order to create more and win, next week. It was not enough in the first half. However, this win will enable us to work with serenity this week.
Is this game a good preparation for the next weeks?
We don't have to forget that everything turned good for us today. The opponent got a red card but I am happy because we did what we had to do to earn this result. Now, we have to step up in order to face Toulouse and Metz.
Robert Beric was decisive for his return...
He came back for that. It is good for him he scored since from his first game even if he is not already fully fit. I knew him a little bit and I had the opportunity to see how good he is as a striker. He has a lot of courage and works a lot during training sessions. Everybody likes him in the group. Now he just needs to get the right rythm and he will help us a lot.
