Are you satisfied with the training week done in Murcia ?
We enjoyed a great week and worked very well with perfect conditions. We took this opportunity to changes some things. The players needed to be aware that they did not do enough in the first half of the season. I think the Christmas break helped them mentally.
Do you consider the signing of new players very important ?
Our first signings are our experienced players as Loïc Perrin and Romain Hamouma. They are back in the group after a long injury. With them on the pitch, Saint-Etienne is not the same team. Robert Beric made me an excellent impression. He is a striker with many qualities, especially when he is in front of the opponent goalkeeper. It is very important in football.
What are your expectations for tomorrow’s game against Nîmes?
We will see if there are men in our team. I also rely on our fans because they impress the players and I could see that when I was in PSG. I hope our fans will wish us a Happy New Year with a positive spirit and that they will cheer for us. I know they are disappointed and I understand them but we need their support to gain confidence.
