Were you worried at half-time against Nîmes?
No, I was not worried. I tried to help the players to relax. I told them that with a little bit of confidence, our team would make the difference. That win was necessary for us. It is a first step. Now we have to play in the League. It will be different but the aim is always the same: to win.
Is the team feeling better after the win earned against Nîmes?
We are still recovering but this win gave us confidence. During the training session, I feel the players happier. When we are confident, we enjoy much more and laugh. I think the players feel relieved but we still have a long way to go.
How important is having Loïc Perrin back ?
Loïc is major player for us. He gives confidence to all the players. Even though he doesn’t speak a lot, he is a leader. We have to protect him so that we can rely the whole season on him. We have a tight agenda, so we will have to do the right choices.
How are you preparing the game against Toulouse?
Toulouse are in the same spirit as us. On Wednesday, they did a great game. The result was a bit harsh for them. It will be a fight on Sunday. This team never gives up. It will be difficult. They have a lot of qualities with great players as Gradel, Delort, Jean, Toivonen… Our offensive players need to make the difference.
