What does it mean to play a European Cup match in the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium?

I’m eager to see the ambiance of the Cauldron when set up for the European Cup. I’ve already attended many matches as a spectator. Today it’s as a coach that I will experience this match. The majority of the players were already there last season, they put in the effort to play at the level for a UEFA Europa League match. Today, we have to win. We’re going to do everything we can to complete this mission and win this match on our home turf that we are still waiting from the beginning of the season.

With hindsight, what lessons have you learned from your success in Nîmes?

I regret that we weren’t more effective offensively. We lacked control and confidence in our offense. Tomorrow, to play the match we wish to play, we’ll need more collective control but will also need to regain our fluidity between the lines while remaining disciplined in order to keep our goals above reproach.
