Gabriel Silva: "A very important streak"
The Brazilian left-back is determined to begin a positive streak while a three-match week has been announced.
How will you tackle the next few matches?
It’s a very important series of matches for us. That was already the case against Marseille and Lyon, who we faced during the same week. These three matches will be complicated. We’re very concentrated on and determined to succeed.
After your injury in Autumn, how do you feel personally?
I’m back in playing condition. If I’m not at 100%, it’s difficult to put my best foot forward. Today, I feel good, I work a lot to help my partners.
You also extended your contract with club a short time ago…
I’m very happy about that. Very happy to be here, in a club where everyone helped me to integrate myself and made things easier for me to play my best. From this moment, I’m one of the Verts until 2023, I hope to pay the club back for its trust.
What is your judgement of the first few days of Youness Aït Bennasser and Valentin Vada as Verts?
They’re two players with many qualities. They can contribute much. When you join a new team, you need time. But we have the impression that they’ve been with us for a long time. They’ve already found their bearings.
