Enjoy your retirement, Josuha!
Josuha Guilavogui, who came up through the AS Saint-Étienne academy, announced the end of his professional soccer career on Saturday at the age of 35.
Although he was born in the Var, Josuha Guilavogui’s story is deeply connected to the Forez region. It was with AS Saint-Étienne that the young midfielder took his first steps in the youth academy at age 15, before signing his first professional contract in 2010 and becoming a full-fledged member of the Saint-Étienne first team led by Christophe Galtier.
In total, as he prepares to retire, “Guila” has played 120 matches in the Saint-Étienne jersey and, above all, can boast of having been universally admired wherever he has played throughout his professional soccer career—whether in Germany, France, or Spain. AS Saint-Étienne now wishes him all the best for the future!
