Déborah Bien-Aimé joins Les Vertes!
Déborah Bien-Aimé (21), Haitian international midfielder, joins Les Vertes from Fort Lauderdale United Academy FC (United States).
Following in the footsteps of Welma Fon and Aleksandra Gajić, another international player is settling in Forez! At 21, midfielder Déborah Bien-Aimé joins AS Saint-Étienne at the start of the 2025-2026 Arkema Première Ligue season. Trained in the United States, the Haitian international will strengthen Les Vertes, where she will be reunited with Amandine Pierre-Louis, her national teammate.
Born on September 16, 2003, in Hollywood, Déborah Bien-Aimé started playing soccer at the age of three. She took her first steps at Plantation FC, then joined Sunrise Prime before continuing her training at Florida International University in 2021. She quickly found her place there, becoming a key player. During the 2024-2025 season, she had a particularly successful year, accumulating more than 1,600 minutes of playing time and actively participating in the Panthers' Conference USA (CUSA) season's achievements with regular seans and final tournament title. Her performances earned her a place in the All-CUSA First Team, recognizing her major role in her team's success.
In May 2025, Déborah signed with Fort Lauderdale United Academy FC, a club in the USL W League, America's semi-professional championship. Already member of the Haitian national team, with which she made her debut in 2024, she now brings her international experience and composure to Forez. At 21, Déborah Bien-Aimé is Saint-Étienne's ninth summer signing. Welcome!
Déborah Bien-Aimé: “I am extremely proud to joint Saint-Étienne. I can't wait to meet my new teammates and staff so I can settle in before the start of the new season!”
Sébastien Joseph, coach of Les Vertes: “Déborah is a young player, one of the most promising in the Haitian national team. She can play in several positions, but it is in midfield that she can bring us a lot of power, with her ability to recover balls and drive the team forward. Her international experience should help her adapt quickly!"
Déborah Bien-Aimé's “Vert l'Avenir” commitment
As part of its “Vert l'Avenir” CSR initiative, AS Saint-Étienne gives the opportunity to all of its employees, including its players, to commit to one of the four areas of focus of its ASSE Cœur-Vert association: Environment, Citizenship, Sport for All, and Health.
This season, Déborah Bien-Aimé will participate in initiatives related to Health.
